Inviting teammates
How invites and per-seat billing work, and what changes on your bill when someone accepts.
Each loan officer in your workspace is a billable seat. The plan price you signed up at applies per seat, every month.
How invites work
- As an org admin, open Settings -> Users -> Invite teammate.
- Enter the teammate's email and role (loan officer, processor, or manager).
- The invite modal shows the projected bill change. Example: "Inviting [email protected] adds 1 seat to your subscription. Your monthly bill changes from $300 to $600. Today's prorated charge is approximately $90. Continue?"
- Click Send. We email the teammate a one-time invitation link.
- They click the link, set their password, and land in your workspace.
The seat does not count until they accept. If they never click, the invite expires after 7 days and your bill stays the same.
How proration works
When a teammate accepts mid-cycle, Stripe immediately charges you the prorated cost for the rest of the cycle, then continues at the full per-seat rate next month.
When you deactivate a teammate mid-cycle, Stripe credits your next invoice for the unused portion. Their account is locked out immediately; the credit shows on your next bill.
Roles and permissions
- Loan officer: can manage their own leads, send messages, run drip campaigns. Cannot invite teammates or change billing.
- Processor: can manage leads assigned to them. Same restrictions otherwise.
- Manager: can see everyone's leads in read mode, plus the manager dashboards.
- Org admin: can do everything, including invitations and billing.
There can be more than one org admin. The first user (the one who signed up) is the org admin by default.
